Joey Cole is a Senior Producer at MSNBC where she manages the editorial content and the live control room operations for the weekday 10am hour. Prior to MSNBC, Joey was an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
Joey was a Senior Producer for World News Tonight where she oversaw a team of correspondents, producers, and editors for the evening news broadcast. At CNN, Joey was an interim Executive Producer and Senior Producer for CNN Newsroom.
As a producer, Joey worked for a variety of programs including CNN Piers Morgan Tonight, The Today Show, and The Montel Williams Show. She began her professional career at Dateline NBC.
Joey is a recipient of numerous awards including two News Emmys. She received her M.S. from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. Joey attended Wellesley College where she obtained a B.A. in Anthropology, and graduated with Latin Honors.
