Ilham Lagrich

Ilham Lagrich is a public health consultant who worked in several public health programs led by the Moroccan Ministry of Health in partnership with international development organizations including the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Her career includes a professional experience working for UN Women – Maghreb Office on projects aiming to improve women’s access to new technologies.
Her long-term commitment to promote rural girls’ education was a catalyst to her designation as the Managing Director of the Rural Girls Education Supporting Committee (CSSF), a Moroccan NGO for the promotion of education for girls in rural areas through inclusive programs and advocacy work.

Lagrich is an engaged human rights activist and a board member of two local NGOs active in the field of education. She is currently the Vice-President of the Rural Girls Education Supporting Committee and the General Secretary of the Atlas Association for Rural Development
