Deborah Dean is currently Vice President, General Counsel-Americas for Dassault Systèmes. Ms. Dean joined Dassault Systèmes in 2006 through the acquisition of MatrixOne, Inc., where she served as General Counsel for several years. Prior to joining MatrixOne, she served as counsel to several technology companies. Ms. Dean received her B.A. from Wellesley College and Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. Ms. Dean leads Dassault Systèmes’ WIN (Women’s Initiative) in the US whose mission is to provide career support and growth for female employees of the company, as well as to support the education of girls in Rwanda. She also served as a director on the Board of WEST (Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women in STEM from 2012 – June, 2015. She has been recognized as In-house Lawyer of the Year for Mentoring by Chambers Women in Law USA in 2014, as one of the top 100 Diverse Corporate Leaders in STEM by StemConnector in 2014 and named a Leader in the Law by Lawyers Weekly in 2013.
